ELIZABETH MOORE production designer

Elizabeth has been working in the arts since leaving school, at first primarily in theatre, including work at the Six Years Old Company with Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin (Strictly Ballroom). This lead to study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in 1991. Elizabeth then travelled overseas and resided in London where she began working in the art department on UK productions. In 1995 Elizabeth returned to Australia to study production design at the AFTRS. Since graduating in 1996 she has designed for theatre and numerous short films including Lovely, Flying Over Mother and Above the Dust Level all of which were nominated for best short film at the AFI awards. She also designed the awarding winning short film Tulip (directed by Rachael Griffiths) as well as TV commercials both in Australia and overseas.

In 1999 she designed her first feature film, the comedy Russian Doll directed by Stavros Kazantzidis. Mullet is her second feature as Production Designer.
